March 2022: DAE Member Exclusive Discounts; Upcoming Deadlines; Support for Ukraine

It’s a very tough reality many of our members are settling in to. We’ve added some links to support Ukrainian filmmakers at the bottom of this newsletter and added an additional link to support Polish colleagues transporting and hosting Ukrainian refugees. All the links and fundraisers we share are connected to DAE members and friends.

We’ll be onsite at the East Doc Platform in Prague 29 March – April 1. Reach out if you’d like to meet up. We are very happy to partner with our new members EMERGING PRODUCERS to host some drinks. See you there and don’t miss their deadline for submissions, March 31.

Still, we think one of the most important things we can do is keep working for you, our members. We’ve just started fundraising for a major new resource, and you can meet us in Thessaloniki and at the East Doc Platform before the end of March. Reach out to this email if you’d like to make a meeting with us.

Don’t forget our Members Meet-Up: we will be meeting virtually on April 4, 16:00-17:30 to catch up and discuss association business. We’ll send a zoom link and more information closer to the date. If you’ve got discussion points or questions you’d like share with us in advance, you can email here.
