Discount for Sheffield DocFest; deadlines IDFA Project Space, Docs BCN, Verzio FF, SSD

We continue to think so much about our friends in the Ukraine and their well-being in these violent and scary days. Many fundraisers and other initiatives continue to be shared around social media. You can donate to the Docudays fund here or to this filmmaker-initiated campaign here, both support filmmakers on the ground in Ukraine; or Freefilmers, also on the ground in Ukraine particularly aiding the support of disabled, neurodiverse and other marginalised groups in Ukraine. You can also follow the youtube channel of babylon `13 or donate directly to them here. And if you want to keep your donations intersectional, check out this great resource here. All of these initiatives involve DAE members. We are with you.

Still, we think one of the most important things we can do is keep working for you, our members. We’ve just started fundraising for a major new resource, and you can meet us in Thessaloniki and at the East Doc Platform before the end of March. Reach out to this email if you’d like to make a meeting with us.

Don’t forget our Members Meet-Up: we will be meeting virtually on April 4, 16:00-17:30 to catch up and discuss association business. We’ll send a zoom link and more information closer to the date. If you’ve got discussion points or questions you’d like share with us in advance, you can email here.
